This special issue will bring together cutting-edge research on novel strategies to understand, control, and combat biofilms and biofouling, with a particular focus on antimicrobial resistance.
About the Special Issue
This special issue is linked to the 1st DAE-BRNS International Conference on Recent Developments in Biofilms and Biofouling Control (BBC-2024), which took place on 12-14 December 2024 and was organized by Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC), Kalpakkam, India. Building on the insights shared at the conference, the issue will feature original research articles and reviews on biofilm biology, AMR, and innovative antimicrobial strategies.
